Will There Still be Schools and Teachers in The Future?

A few people think that in 50 years time or less, there will be no more schools and teachers for students due to the non-stop growth of technology. this is interesting, but i do not believe that it will really happen.

It is true that even now some children in the world aren't going to proper schools with teachers, instead, they are homeschooling. so they don't really need teachers in order to learn and they don't go to school buildings and sit in a class room. and some people predict that in the future all students will learn independently and school subjects is just one click away from the internet.

But not all students are capable of learning on they're own, and not all off them are comfortable with just reading from a screen. some likes it better to study off of a text book. students who can't study on their own still need teachers to explain the subject that they are learning.

to conclude, i think that in the future there will still be schools and teachers, because some students need guidance on learning. but it is true that most students in the future will study more from the internet too, because both homeschooling students and normal students are already doing that nowadays.

Will There Still Be Teachers And Schools In The Future?

Teachers and schools are two of the most influential things for a person, especially in childhood. A teacher does not only show us how to read and how to count, they also teach us how to act and lead us to do good things. They plant seeds that will make us who we are when we grow up. A teacher does not always have to be the one at school, but a teacher can also be our mom, dad, older brother, or even our friend. In fact, parents are usually the one that teaches us the most important thing in life, which is how to love. Schools are important because it is the place where a student not only learns many subjects, but it is also the place where a child first interacts with many people their age. These so called friends will also have a large impact for building a child’s identity.

But these days, electronic devices are getting more and more sufficient on being a child’s learning source. With the internet, it feels as if we can learn anything just by pressing a few buttons. We have Google, the most famous search engine. When we a type a keyword into it, it shows us a list of websites that contains the word or the phrase that we are searching. We also have Wikipedia, a more descriptive source for students to learn everything about a topic they search. Using Google, Wikipedia, or many other search engines and websites, anyone could just type a word or a phrase that they want to learn and click search. It makes us wonder, will there still be schools and teachers in the future where we can learn things just by pressing a few buttons?

The answer is yes, and no. Yes, because teachers and schools will forever be needed. A teacher can be whoever, and a teacher can also be in whatever form, and time will not change that. While schools are always needed as a place for kids to learn from each other, join organizations, and interact. Time will never change that either. No, because schools and teachers in the future may not be the same type as the schools and teachers we have now. For instance, with the growth of technology, a child does not have to leave home to go to school. He or she can just sit in front of a monitor and log in the internet to find a teacher that could come from the opposite side of the world. Although this system won’t give you the same feeling as actually going to a school -like the ability to play football with your friends and actually meeting them- but this system also means no boundaries. You can have a teacher from China, be best friends with a girl from America, or share ideas with a boy from Russia. Teachers can also be in the form of a machine, for example, a robot.

The point is, technology may always grow, and the methods of learning and teaching may evolve, but there will always be teachers and schools, although they may not have the same form of teachers and schools as we have now.
